M by Montcalm Hotel
M by Montcalm Hotel is officially opening in Shoreditch in Spring 2015.
Situated on City Road, a three-minute walk from Silicon roundabout, the hotel will feature 269 stylish rooms complete with luxury amenities from Elemis and Hermès, rain showers, Bose speakers and easy to use technology that enables guests to create their own environment; they can even select the room aroma.
The 18 storey building's futuristic façade was heavily influenced by the work of ‘Op-Art’ pioneer Bridget Riley, particularly 'Nataraja' (1993), now part of the Tate Collection. The building is one of the first in the world to absorb a horizontal transom on the façade.
Searcy's are launching an exciting new restaurant at the hotel called Tonic & Remedy. Created by chef Paul Welburn (who has appeared on the BBC’s Great British Menu), it will take inspiration from Shoreditch’s history with apothecary and will use an abundance of herbs, spices and wine in its food and cocktails.
The soft launch rate for M by Montcalm £180 + VAT weekdays and £150 + VAT for weekends (applicable for the first month only).
Tonic and Remedy opens on 20th April 2015.
